Sid Hale outlines the extra features in Rapid Action Profits Version 3.1

1. The ability to create a zero dollar Coupon Code ($0.00) allows you to give an existing front-end product away, but register the ownership (automatically using the comp.html template). This feature allows you to create a "freebie" from any existing product, and can be a great way to use existing products in giveaway events to grow your list. 
   
    
2. This release allows you to create a custom Payment Page for your customer when they get to Paypal.
   
   A number of new variables (with defaults supplied) allow you to customize the look/feel of the Paypal payment page.
   
   • A secure Paypal Header image is supported in this
     release, and there is a generic, default image provided
     that you can use.
     
     If you prefer... You can create your own Paypal Header
     image, host it on a secure site, and have that image show
     on all Paypal payment pages (yours and your affiliates).
     That means that you can use the generic one provided, or
     you can create your own, for "branding" purposes.
     
     You can even create a separate one for each product if
     you want.
     
     
   • In addition, the Paypal payment page can be customized
     with custom colors by specifying the following for each
     product:
     a. the background color for the header image (above)
     b. the border color for the header image (above)
     c. the background color for the payment page
     
   • You may specify custom text for the 'Return to Merchant'
     Button on the Paypal payment page.
   
   
   
3. The "backoffice" communication with Paypal has been changed to use CURL functions rather than the standard HTML post of the order form. This change overcomes some restrictions on settings with the various hosting companies.
   
   
4. Significant additional security/protection of Paypal payment form has been added to eliminate all known issues where payments could be hi-jacked by others, preventing savvy buyers from modifying the payment button code (i.e. to pay themselves), prior to passing the payment form to Paypal.
   
   Only one security hole has existed in the payment process to date and encryption of a unique id, along with other payment details, will allow us to identify and block ALL fraudulent payments.
   
   
5. Install.php
   - has been modified to identify required PHP extension libraries, and whether they are, indeed, installed on your server. If not, an error is issued, and installation halts until you can resolve these issues.
   
   
6. A new Class has been added as a database wrapper to allow for more efficient coding, increased database security, and easier add on development.
   
   
7. Total Reseller and JV Partner counts are now shown on the respective List Affiliate/Partners pages in RAP Admin.
   
   
8. Total Referrer count now shows on the "Sales by Referrer", showing how many have actually made sales.
   
   
9. Sales and Fraud reports are now "paged" so that you can more quickly retrieve the data for these reports. You can also sort these reports by column (ascending or descending), and change the number of items shown per page. These reports also have a new "mouseover" effect to highlight a row, making it easier to focus on a particular sale when reading the data.
   
   
10. In the Sales Reports, refunded sales have always had their links disabled so that you could not re-validate the download or pull up a download page. These reports now show the Paypal Transaction ID for refunded sales in a red font so you can spot them without having to do a mouseover.
    
    
11. New Database Backup feature will extract all database definition and the data values to a .SQL snapshot file suitable for rebuilding the database as of the point in time that the backup was taken.
    
    
12. Viewer.php is now secured, so that it cannot be run except from the RAP Admin Panel, and then, only if you have logged in. It reads the files from the template folder, and dynamically creates a drop-down list of templates from the files found. Selecting a file will cause that template to be shown in another frame.
    
    
13. Your RAP Admin now includes an interface to the Three Pillar Helpdesk system (for those of you who use this). Just like the
    Three Pillar Desktop Notifier, your RAP Admin Dashboard can alert you to new helpdesk tickets - and open your helpdesk window as an overlay INSIDE your RAP Admin area!
    
    
14. Automatic email for resellers immediately after sign up, containing their affiliate ID, password, and product link.
    
    
15. Automatic Cloaked URL's for affiliates! Using the new scrnch.me service, your RAP affiliate tools page will now include a cloaked URL for your affiliates to use. It's right in the affiliate tools page, and it's automatic!
    
    This could help you recruit new affiliates (I could be wrong, but... I don't think there is any other affiliate program available today that automatically provides affiliates with a cloaked link, making this exclusive to RAP-driven products - like yours)
    
    
16. Import Affiliates and/or JV partners from a flat file. This allows you to extract your affiliates from an existing affiliate program, and upload them directly into your RAP database. Their affiliate ID from the original program becomes their nickname in RAP, and they can immediately begin selling your instant commission products, too!
    
    
17. Corrected the "Forgot Password" functions for resellers to return an error if a non-existent nickname or email address are entered.
    
    
18. Enhanced click tracking includes a new table for summary tracking by affiliate. This is strictly a performance enhancement and should provide significant performance increases when an affiliate logs into the reseller area and you have recorded high click traffic for a large number of products.
    
    
19. Instant Affiliates uses a single token on your download pages, to put an affiliate sign up form on your download page. If your customers might also be potential affiliates for you, include this token, and they will be able to select a nickname/password right on the download page
